Remote Workforce (“we”/”us”/”our”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

 

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act"), the data controller is Remote Workforce of 5 Navigation Court, Waterside, Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4FD.

  1. Information we may collect about you
    1. Information you provide by filling in forms or contact details held verbally or in writing. Remote Workforce may also ask for information when you report a problem with any service operated by Remote Workforce
    2. Any contact by letter or email may be kept for a record of correspondence.
    3. Any contact by telephone may be recorded for training purposes or for the purpose of proving requests or declarations made.
  2. IP Addresses and Cookies
    1. Remote Workforce will collect information about your computer including but not limited to IP address, operating system and browser type, for research purposes to constantly improve the service we provide to you, the customer.
    2. The service provided by Remote Workforce does explicitly collect IP addresses and timestamps of any visits past the login page.
    3. In addition to clause (2.b) Remote Workforce may also collect cookies in the future to continue the development of the service provided to you, the customer.
  3. Uses made of the information
    1. Remote Workforce will use the information held about you in the following ways:
      1. To ensure that the content from Remote Workforce is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer/device
      2. To provide the customer with information, products or services that is requested from Remote Workforce or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
      3. To carry out obligations arising from any contracts entered between the customer and Remote Workforce
      4. To allow the customer to participate in any interactive features when chosen to do so by the customer.
      5. To notify the customer about any changes with Remote Workforce
    1. If you have placed an order from Remote Workforce, we will use the information we hold to possibly send you a newsletter. This newsletter is our primary method of communicating with you and will inform you of changes to our site, notify you of planned outages and updates to our services, and keep you informed about our services generally. By placing an order for our services, you consent to us using the information we hold about you in this way.

    1. Remote Workforce will not disclose any information held about any customer or party to any third parties without written consent by the chosen party in question.
    2. Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.
  2. Access to information
    1. The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access requests may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you
  3. Changes to Privacy Policy
    1. Any changes Remote Workforce make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to the customer by email.
